Week 2 week beginning 20th June
Hello everybody!
We have had another great week in Reception 1.
The children have been busy learning about odd and even numbers and we have introduced ow and oi in phonics.
In our topic we have started to create a lift the flap earth picture, containing interesting facts about earth. The children have discussed what they think are important facts about the earth.
In PE the children have continued to impress the coaches and have been working on throwing, catching and bouncing balls with Mr Shingler.
Our medal winner this week is Noor. She is a kind friend and always helpful in class. Noor has been working hard listening to and following instructions.
Friday - What an amazing day Miss Edwards, myself and the children had.
In the morning the children rolled out biscuit dough and cut their own biscuit using a car and aeroplane cutter. These were baked all ready for our Family Fun Day in the afternoon. We had a fantastic afternoon! Thank you to all the grown ups that came to join us, it was great to see so many of you. The children were so excited to have you in school. I hope you enjoy having a look through the photographs.
