This book is brilliant because it is a lovely story but it contains lots of interesting facts too!
Now, look at the little YouTube video below with a grown up. It will show you how to make your own little 8 page folded book with one piece of A4 paper! Cool eh?
Once you have made your folded book then you can turn it into a retell of Yukky Worms with your own words and illustrations. Or you can be a fact explorer and carefully find as many facts about worms in the story as you can and then write facts with pictures in your book. Fancy that eh? You can be an author of your very own book!
These book are handy for children to create little books at any time. My children love to make comics with them! You can also use A3 paper if you'd like bigger pages. Don't forget to include a front cover!
