Week beginning 9th May
We have had a lovely week in 2D. We have been busy completing some of our special quizzes, so the timetable has been a little bit different, and will be for the next two weeks.
In english we have been continuing with the story The Storm Whale, preparing ourselves for some excellent story writing. We have been busy creating story maps and interviewing Dad from the story! A big thanks to Ellie who dressed up in a fisherman's coat and answered our questions.
In maths we have been working on problem solving and working out what operation we need to use.
We have enjoyed a football session and athletics with Mr Shingler. In music we have been busy with our new unit "Music that makes us happy". We have been looking at tempo and pitch, and have been using the glockenspiels again! So much fun!
The children have been working so hard this week and I am really proud of them.
