Nursery had a great time joining in with the Football Funday on Monday! Thank you to those who have sponsored the children.
Lots of fun has been had by all trying to keep cool this week.

Summer term has well and truly begun - the sun is shining again today and the children arrived at Nursery bright as buttons. The children have had lots of fun this week mapping the route of the The Little Red Hen, from the storybook and re-enacting different aspects of the story and in Maths, there is a real emphasis on counting: counting sets, counting on their fingers, counting around the nursery and learning to write numbers. Please continue with this at home as much as possible. The children have also made celebration cards this week to show love, gratitude and appreciation to important people in their lives.
Next week is looking to be another scorcher so please remember to put sun cream on your child before they come to Nursery and if possible, send in a named sun hat. All of the children have access to water in the Nursery and do not need to bring in their own water bottle.
