Week 5
Hello R2 Families!
It has been extremely hot at school this week and the children have coped so well.
Here's what we have been up to...
Reception Sports Day 2026
We didn't get to the park sadly, due to the high temps. We had lots of fun though!
In maths, we have begun some early division work and looked at sharing and grouping.
Making pirate maps
We stained the paper with tea to make it look old and then added details. The children loved this!
We have been scientists this week! We have investigated objects that float or sink. We had lots of brilliant questions, made predictions and made some interesting discoveries!
The hot weather is set to continue next week so please remember to sun cream your child before school, send them with a bottle of water and a sunhat.
I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at the summer fair!
