Hello R2 Families

It was great to see so many of you at the Meet the Teacher gathering on Thursday, thank you for coming and for your support.

This week has been busy, lots of fun and it has whizzed by! We have enjoyed participating in gymnastics with the coaches and in dance with myself. I've loved seeing the children's ability to listen, follow instructions and to have a go. 

In maths we have been sorting objects into a chosen criteria and explaining what we have done. 

In phonics we now have 't' and 'p' in our phonics kit bag! A huge thank you for the support that you have given so far by reading, practising the Helpful Words and completing the phonics homework. 

In our topic work we have been looking at different homes, talking about our own homes and creating home collages.

What does next week have in store? We will be learning, sharing and finding out how we grow and change. I'm looking forward to sharing this lovely story with the children...

It would be great if you could chat with your child at home about memories of when they were a baby and a toddler!

Maybe you could chat to them about all the amazing things that they might want to do when they grow up?!

You could take some time together to share this brilliant book and song.
