Well Being Wednesday
At this moment in time, our priority has to be looking after the health and mental well-being of the children. We had such lovely feedback last week, from parents and pupils to say how much they enjoyed being told to enjoy themselves. Also, it was lovely to hear that parents said that they took the opportunity to sit down and relax with their children too, much needed R&R. If we were in school, the children would enjoy golden time, their time to choose and the opportunity to lead their own learning. We want to encourage the children to enjoy activities and find ways to express themselves and have fun!
So, we are keeping aspects of Well Being Wednesday but reducing it to half a day. Have a look back at last week’s activities (the link is at the very bottom of the class page), if you did not get chance to do some of them, have a try this week. If you particularly enjoyed one – do it again! It’s your afternoon, for you to do something that you enjoy, that makes you feel good. The teachers are also taking it in turns to add some new activities that you might like to try, so have a look at those too at the bottom of this page.
Alternatively, here are some ideas below for children to try on their own, with a brother or sister, with a grown up or with a friend on Zoom.
