Weeks beginning 30th March and 6th April 2020

I think it would be great if you could do Easter egg hunts by hiding and finding numbered eggs (this can be indoors and doesn't need to be real eggs!). Encourage your child to recognise numbers and to count the number of eggs they find.  They could also have a go at trying to write numbers.

Egg boxes are a great way of encouraging problem solving by asking questions such as:

  • How many eggs fit into the box?
  • Take 1 or 2 away how many are left ?
  • How many eggs are there in two egg boxes?
