Week 6 week beginning 18th July
Hello,
On Tuesday we had the most amazing trip to Blackpool Zoo. The children's behaviour and enthusiasm was fantastic!
Yes, it was the hottest day of the year but, we were well prepared which enabled us to gain first hand experience to see some of the many animals that we have learnt about this half term in the topic 'Our Amazing World.'
Thank you for ensuring your child was well protected from the sun.
The children were very excited to see some of their favourite animals. We made sure that we whizzed around the zoo to see as many animals as possible. Needless to say, there were a few sleepy heads on the coach on the way home.

The children have been to visit their new class this week and met their new teachers. They will have another visit next week.
Next week will be be the start of the summer holidays. Their is a summer reading challenge at the library called Gadgeteers. Have a look at the link below.
Next week reminders
If you still have a reading book or library book at home, please send them in to school on Monday.
On Tuesday please send your child to school wearing leggings/shorts/tracksuit bottoms and a t-shirt to take part in our outdoor fun!
Wednesday is our last day together and the children are allowed to bring in their own toy but nothing too big, precious, expensive or electrical please.
