Art and crafts this week is based around the theme of washing dolls and dolls clothes.
Draw and paint pictures of your favourite dolls, teddy bears and dolls clothes.
Draw a washing line with clothes on it.
Create patterns on clothes.
Based on the story ‘Paper Dolls’ have a go at making some paper dolls. This is a bit tricky so your mums or dads may need to help! Perhaps you can colour in and make patterns on the paper dolls.
Other topic based activities to try using fabrics and junk materials:
Make a cardboard roll doll
Try bubble painting; it is really good fun!
You will need a straw and some paint mixed with water and washing up liquid in a pot.
Blow down the straw to make bubbles then place a piece of paper over the top of the pot to take a print. You will see some lovely patterns in your bubble painting. Remember to blow down your straw - don't suck.
