Celebrating the Week!

Hello Reception 2 Families

Well, we made it to the Easter break! We have had a busy and bonkers week...

Friendship Day was a really valuable time to talk about friendship and think about how we need to always try our best to be kind and friendly towards every member of our class. The children worked in talk partners to discuss what a kind and unkind friend might do. I was proud of their conversational skills and their chats with one another helped to define what a good friend looks like. I hope that you liked the little friendship bracelets that the children made for one another. heart

World Book Day was another exciting day! Mrs Gill paid us a visit and read us a (covid/bubble safe) story. Dress up days are ace and they bring such fun. We chatted about and celebrated authors, illustrators and readers! heart

We spread some Easter cheer as we approached Friday! We enjoyed an Easter hunt with Mrs Walkden and everyone won a prize for finding lots of eggs in the playground. The Easter raffle was exciting and we had a few winners in R2! We (finally) managed to break the pinata open to reveal loads of treats for everyone. The children loved our Easter crafts and were proud to bring home their Easter chick cards and their Easter baskets.

Have a lovely break everyone and enjoy the gentle easing of restrictions with your friends and families. Here are some lovely pics of your little people to enjoy...
