Friday 12th March

The children have had a great first week back at school. It has been lovely to see their happy faces and see them enjoying being with their friends again. We have been busy playing, sharing, being creative and hard at work practising our reading and maths skills.
On Friday we talked about how amazing mums are. The children wrote some lovely sentences and drew some great pictures. Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful Mums!

We finished the week with some ‘golden time’ as a reward for a settling back into school so well. The children enjoyed making plasticine animals and painting some super animal pictures.

Things to remember for next week:

• PE clothes on Monday and Friday
• Science day on Tuesday - please wear clothes you don't mind getting messy
• Red Nose Day on Friday - wear your own clothes and something red

Wednesday 10th March

Hello - we have had a last minute change to the PE timetable - we will have a lesson with Mr Shingler on Fridays now instead of Thursdays - please send the word out!

So please send your child in comfy bottoms on Mondays and Fridays this half term.

If the message reaches you too late, DO NOT PANIC, your child will just have a comfy Thursday this week too!
