Week beginning
This week we began to look at Remembrance Day and the children wrote a diary entry through the eyes of a soldier. The children made amazing poppies and completed poppy paintings.
The children have also started on our new topic Fire Fire based on the Great Fire of London and we began by looking at a big book and Magic grandad's television programme from the eyes of Samuel Pepys.
In PE we completed football skills and started to tackle and defend the ball from another player. The children loved it!
Maths work this week has been centred around multiplication and repeated addition and Please look on the maths homework link for the education city link. This will help the children rehearse the work we have been doing in class ready for more multiplication next week. Please can they complete this for next Wednesday?
It was an exciting moment in 2F when we started relax kids wellbeing session 1. What fun we had and the children loved the games the positive statements about each other and the relaxing yoga mats work at the end. I'm sure they are looking forward to next week already.
