Hello Reception 1 families.
As we are fast approaching the end of the spring term, your children have had a fun and busy week. In maths they have been busy consolidating number bonds to 5 and 10.
In phonics we have been learning about split digraphs. A split digraph is when one sound splits the a, e, i, o and u and the final e.
This week in PE the children performed their Pinocchio Dance. They did a fantastic job remembering their movements in time to the music. I hope you enjoy watching the video. They also continued to improve their football skills and working as a team.
To finish off our work on Rapunzel the children have written some super sentences to retell the story and have been creative by making Rapunzel in her tower using lolly sticks.
Next week we will focus on Spring and Easter. It will also be science week.
Please can I ask that you complete the consent form attached to the letter that was sent home on Friday for our visit to Victoria Park and return it in your child's book bag on Monday.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend.
Take care
Mrs Spooner x
