This week we have been learning about our bodies and the things that we need to do to look after our bodies. We started by sharing this brilliant book...

We have talked about eating healthy food, did a work out with Joe Wicks and chatted about keeping our bodies clean, especially our hands and the importance of brushing our teeth.
In maths we have begun exploring capacity. We shared the story Dear Zoo by Rod Campbell (a fave of mine!) to get vocabulary flowing and we then played a game fitting the zoo animals into the right sized boxes, problem solving and working together!
Next week we'll talk about Harvest and what it's all about! We look forward to seeing you at our Harvest Assembly in the a/m or p/m on Wednesday 18th October. Please don't forget to bring in a food donation on Monday.
We filled up our class pebble jar today! A lot of hard work and super team work was needed to achieve this! We had an afternoon filled with fun to celebrate all of our efforts! We've danced our socks of, had some sweets and then chilled out with popcorn and cartoons. Well done R2!
