Wow! what a busy and fantastic way to end our final week in Year One
THEEE BEST DAY EVER!!!
It was definitely the best day ever today at school! We arrived to find three bouncy castles on the playground!
End of Year party
We had lots of fun playing 'pass the parcel', 'four corners' and 'musical statutes'. The children showed what great dancers they are and a special thank you goes to the parents for their kind donations. The party was a great success and everyone enjoyed themselves
Last day of Year One
Finally the last day in Year One arrived... it felt sad but also happy as the children are ready for the exciting challenges of Year Two. We have had another difficult year in school this year but the children have shown how resilient they are and have been a joy to teach.
This week we have talked about what it might be like in Year Two and talked through any worries the children might have had about moving to a new classroom. Don't forget children Mrs Shannon will be one of the adults helping in 2D.
Finally we would like to thank everyone for your generous and thoughtful gifts and cards this week. We hope you all enjoy the summer break and that the sunshine lasts for the summer!
