Hello everybody!
I hope you have all had a lovely weekend enjoying the sunshine.
Well, that has been yet another busy week. All of the children have been fantastic, joining in with our fun activities.
The week started with the teachers sponsored netball shoot. It was very wet but we had lots of fun. Following that we had our dance-a-thon in the playground. The children showed us their super dance moves and enjoyed dancing away to the music with their friends. Mrs Walkden was a great DJ!
Wednesday was picnic day. It was great to have the whole school having lunch together in the playground in their designated areas. The children had fantastic manners, you should be very proud of them.
Friday we had our celebration and birthday assembly in the playground. This time it was the teachers turn to take part. We had a 'smash the pinata' competition to see if we could win sweets for each class. I think it was safe to say that all the teachers enjoyed this activity, especially with the children cheering us along!
The afternoon followed with reception's sports activities. All the children took part in the activities and their was lots of team spirit. I hope the children have showed you their medal and certificate. To finish the afternoon, all the children had an ice lolly. Miss Edwards and I are so proud of the children and their behaviour this week with all the changes to our routine.
Please enjoy looking through our photos and I think it is safe to say that the children have had a great week.
I can't believe that we are going in to our last week! I think this one is going to be even busier!
Keep smiling, and I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow.
