Week beginning 16th May
This week we have completed our "quizzes", which has taken up a good chunk of our timetable. I am happy to say that all the children have worked so hard, and we will be having a mini celebration in class next week!
We have been learning about the life of Grace Darling this week and basing our writing on her life story. We have created timelines to order the events that link with her story.
In geography we have been comparing beaches in England to beaches in other countries. We wrote about which beach we would prefer to visit!
In art we have been tinting and toning with Mrs Nield. We have also started our observational drawings of The Queen, using our special sketching pencils.
I am so happy that we are going to be going on a trip and especially excited about taking the children to the beach. For more information please see the letter below, however more details will follow.
