Hi Reception 2 Families
This week we have been learning about animal groups and the children have enjoyed learning lots of interesting facts about what makes animals different. We have been talking about what we would be if we were able to be any animal, that was fun!
We have learnt the trigraph 'ear' in Floppy's Phonics and have spent time practising letters that we need to form correctly. In Mr Shingler's PE lesson, the children learnt some cricket skills. The highlight of everyone's week has to be today's Family Fun Day. A big thankyou to all of our lovely grown ups who came and enjoyed a lovely afternoon with their children, it really was a joy to have you all here.
Next week is going to be super exciting! Please remember the following...
- Tuesday is Sports Day. Mrs Walkden is sending everyone a letter outlining the details. Parents and carers are welcome so please look out for this letter so that you know what's what.
- Thursday is our class assembly and we would love you to come and see your children.
- Friday is an INSET day and school is closed.
