What a splendid first week back we had! The children blew myself and Miss Hodgson away with their friendliness towards one another, there ability to slip right back into routines that they have been away from for so long and with their enthusiasm for learning. Next week, week 4, promises to be as awesome as this week! It is Science Day on Tuesday. Children can wear clothes that are ok to get messy. It is PE on Wednesday (and each Wednesday thereon) so comfy bottoms and trainers please. Friday is Red Nose Day so come dressed in something red to mark the event.
Mrs Herman's will be teaching the children on Thursday mornings, whilst I have my PPA, with Miss Hodgson assisting her. Mrs Herman's has taught at VPIS for a number of years and she is very lovely.
Please look out for your child's feed forward about their reading and phonics assessment. It is stapled in their reading records. Their reading day will remain the same.
The children took a lot of pride and care in making their Mother's Day cards, I hope that you like them Mummies!
Here are some lovely photos to sum up our week...
Have a super weekend!
