Understanding of the World
Role Play - In the nursery we would have had a travel agent play area with holiday brochures, telephones and laptops to play at going away on holiday.
Can you pretend you are going to go on holiday?
Where would you go and how would you travel? By plane, boat, train or car?
Some people like to go to cold places to go skiing or snow boarding.
Other people like to go to hot countries to the seaside, make sand castles or swim in the sea.
Do you have a map or a globe in your house - if you have you could take a quick look at where some different places are.
