Dear Reception 2 Families

We cannot believe that the children have completed their transition week at VPIS! We are tremendously proud of each and every one of them! Next week the children will be attending school full time. The school day is 9.00am to 3.05pm. Thanks for all that you have done so far to help your child to settle. J Here are a few important reminders to prepare for next week:

PE for R1 is Wednesday. PE for R2 is Monday. The children need to come to school wearing their PE kit which consists of a white t-shirt, black jogging trousers, black leggings or black shorts.

There is so much school uniform that remains un named. Please make sure that you put your child’s name in EVERY ITEM OF CLOTHING.

The children need to bring a clean bottle of fresh water to school every day. They will bring it home at the end of the school day to be washed. Please ensure that your child’s water bottle has their name on it. Please DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO SCHOOL WITH JUICE IN THEIR WATER BOTTLE-ONLY WATER.

Please ensure that your child has got a VPIS green book bag ASAP, if they haven’t already. This is an essential school item and it is needed to transport their reading folder to and from school each day.

Please don’t forget to look at your child’s class page each weekend. It will contain important reminders, an account of how the week has gone and what we have been up to and a little information to know what to expect in the week ahead. This information is available at the end of every week.
