To support the children's mathematical learning in Year 2 we will be sending a mixture of online games, written tasks and oral and mental challenges.
The online games will be linked to Education City and will consolidate the topic of the week. We are able to access who plays the games and the scores they achieve which is great!
The children have a maths homework book which if applicable will have worksheets at your child's level consolidating the topic of the week. Class 2F will be given the books on Thursday or Friday to return by the following Wednesday. Dates will be clearly marked on any work sent home.
Oral and mental tasks may be anything from counting, learning number bonds to shape names to multiplication tables.
