Week 3
Hello everybody.
We have had a busy week in reception 1. This week we have started Floppy's Phonics sessions and have learnt s and a sounds. You will find the homework sheets in your child's phonics folder.
The children have enjoyed using the autumn finds to create some super pictures. They have also started to paint their self portrait. The children have looked carefully in a mirror at their skin tone, features, hair colour and style, and eye colour.
We have been matching objects in maths and enjoying outside play when it has not been raining.
Thank you to the parents who came to the meeting on Thursday. It was great to see you all there.
Our medal winner this week is Lucas. Well done!
