Welcome back to school everyone!
Just to let you know that PE this half term will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays (starting 9th January) and the children are to come to school in their PE kit on those days.
Our new topic this half term is 'What a Wonderful World'. As we make our way through this topic, we will be focussing on a great book called Here We Are by Oliver Jeffers, which the children will thoroughly enjoy and will help them learn about our wonderful world.
Just a few reminders
* please can your child bring a named water bottle to school daily containing water (no juice)
* please keep your child's phonic sheets, reading book and yellow reading record book inside the plastic folder.
* we are encouraging the children to zip their coats up themselves. If you can help them to practise this that would be great as this helps your child to get outside much quicker rather than waiting in a queue for an adult to help them.
* please continue to pay your weekly fund, either through ParentPay or giving it to myself or Miss Edwards.
