Week 2
Hello R2 Families
This week we have been continuing to explore numbers 11-20 and we have been learning different addition strategies. We have used pictures, counting carefully and combining 2 groups of numbers to find a total, we have been trying to recall number bonds, we have been putting the first number in our heads and counting on and we have been adding by counting on on a number line. The children have really embraced the challenge. The children are finding some numbers tricky to form. We'll be practising lots to help the children to get this right. Extra practise sheets were sent home on Friday so that you can support your child with this at home.

We are all working hard to learn how to write the perfect sentence. We have been writing sentences and then looking back at how we can make them better.
Most importantly, there has also been a lot of child initiated fun this week too. The children get along so well.
