Hello Everyone

There has been a real busy buzz about school this week. Everyone has been busy with their learning, as we always are! But we have also all been working so hard to prepare for and bring to you our Christmas Performances next week. The children have been rewarded with Christmas cartoons and popcorn this week in recognition of their hard work. We simply cannot wait for you all to come along and watch us all perform! 

In PE this week Mr Shingler took the children outside to play basketball and they really loved it. We said goodbye to Courtney, our dance teacher. The children have really loved learning lots of dances and singing along to some of their favourite songs. 

Mrs Walkden has been busily rehearsing with the children for 'Carols in the Park', which takes place this weekend at Victoria Park's Christmas Fair- don't miss out!

We received a magical delivery all the way from the North Pole this week which sprinkled a little magic on proceedings! Santa has sent one of his little fairies to keep an eye on the children. She is currently having a lovely weekend nap in a little bed made especially for her by Anaia!

We began opening our class Advent Calendar this week. You may find your child coming home with a lovely little Julia Donaldson book throughout Advent. They've been really giddy about all the wonderful things that have been happening!

Amidst all the festive fun we have been learning new phonemes, finding out about Night and Day and we have shared some lovely Christmas stories. The children have loved spending time in our outdoor classroom and they particularly loved the little cafe and  enjoyed engaging in some super role play. 

Next week you can expect our little thespians to be tired as they all continue to work hard preparing for and taking part in the Christmas shows. We'll write wish lists for Father Christmas too!
