Welcome back to Victoria Park Infant School

Week 4

Hello Reception 1 families!

The children have been very busy this week learning lots and having fun together playing. We have certainly got some gymnasts in R1! They are really impressing the coaches.

The children have explored 3D shapes this week - sorting 2D and 3D shapes, naming 3D shapes and making some fantastic models with the magnetic blocks.

There is a lot of life cycles happening in early years. We have planted sunflower seeds and are now watching them grow, the caterpillars are busy eating and we also have frogspawn! The children are very excited to see them all develop.

The children have continued to enjoy drawing club, make caterpillars and butterflies from playdough, painted symmetrical butterflies and used a sponge to print butterflies.

Please enjoy looking through the photos with your child.

We hope you all have a super weekend.

Take care

Miss Edwards and Mrs Spooner x
