We are going to begin to look at time. Before we look at telling the time on a clock, I would like you to think about the order and events of a day at school/home.

Watch and listen to this snapshot of a story that is about a toad who writes a list of things to do that day. It will help to understand that events in a day happen in an order.

Can your child begin to order events throughout the day? Talk about this together. Your day might be like this – wake up, have breakfast, get washed and dressed, etc. You could scribe the order of events or your child might like to draw them.
