Today I want you to practise the igh digraph. It is the same action and song as the ie digraph from yesterday.
Watch the Alphablocks and see if you can blend the words along with them
We are going to begin to look at time. Before we look at telling the time on a clock, I would like you to think about the order and events of a day at school/home.
Watch and listen to this snapshot of a story that is about a toad who writes a list of things to do that day. It will help to understand that events in a day happen in an order.
Can your child begin to order events throughout the day? Talk about this together. Your day might be like this – wake up, have breakfast, get washed and dressed, etc. You could scribe the order of events or your child might like to draw them.Now have a listen and join in with this days of the week song
