Week beginning 2nd May

This week we have been busy writing diary extracts from the point of view of the two characters in our story. We have been writing exclamatory sentences in speech bubbles.

In maths we have been focusing on addition and subtraction, where we have been practising carrying and exchanging.

In history we have been continuing to explore seaside holidays in the past, focusing on how seaside holidays became more accessible to less affluent people over 100 years ago.

In art we continued to learn about J M W Turner and created oil pastel pictures based on his painting of the Sunset Over a Lake.

In P.S.H.C.E we have been talking about what makes us feel jealous and what makes us feel proud.
