Good morning everybody! What a busy week it has been!
Grown-ups, I just want to say a great big thank you to you all for all the help you have been giving your children at home. The activities put on the webpage are there as a guide. Please don’t feel that you have to complete all activities every day. Decide what is manageable for you and your child and choose the activities you would like to complete.
Topic
Imagine that that you are an Arctic Explorer. Have a chat with your grown-up and think about what you would need to pack in your suitcase if you were going to go on an Arctic adventure. What would you need? Have a look at the pictures on the attached document and decide what items would be sensible to pack.
If you do not have access to a printer, draw a suitcase outline for your child and they can draw the items.
Phonics
Recap ch, sh, th, ng, ai digraphs. You can write them individually on a piece of paper or card to make your own flashcards.
Today we are having another look at the digraph ay, it is the same action and song as yesterday’s ai sound. Watch the video attached and see if you can help Geraldine Giraffe find some ay words.
Maths
Today we are going to have a look at doubling. Watch the PowerPoint first then have a go at the home challenge attached over the weekend.
PSHE
I would like you to have a look at this video lesson about online safety called ‘D’ is for Danger.Physical
Time to rest and relax now. Join in with the Winter Wonderland yoga
Miss Edwards and I hope you have a fantastic weekend. We look forward to seeing you all on Monday.
Take care and keep safe.
