Week beginning 6th July 2020

In the area of mathematics we will continue to explore movement with a walk.

I went on a tree trail in Longford Park with my family.  It was really good fun and a good way to learn numbers and practise counting.  You can pick up a map from Longfrord Park café or download a map from the Friends of Longford Park web site.

On each different tree you will find a fairy door with a number.

Look at the map to decide which way you need to walk and follow the trail to find all the different numbers for all the different trees.

It is quite tricky - We couldn't find all the fairy doors.

Can you see which numbers we could find?

Can you work out which numbers we couldn't find?

We will have to go back and try again next week to find our missing numbers.

I will look out for you and your family if you decide to go on a tree walk too.

Some trees are tall and some trees are short.

Some trees are narrow and some trees are wide.
