History
This week we are going to take a look at some history work that we enjoyed in Year 2 by looking back at two individual ladies. Rosa Parks and Emmeline Pankhurst both had their own individual stories to tell and wanted to help others. We have looked at several people in history this year who were influential or who might have invented things.

If you have time any spare take a look at some of the other famous people we have studied in Year 2 in the BBC bite size Year 2 home school section marked history. It would be fabulous if you could tell your family about the people what you have learnt about this year. Some others are Florence Nightingale, Guy Fawkes, Grace Darling and others.
Perhaps you could choose an individual that you find inspiring and write a short biography about them using the template at the bottom of the page.
Computing
Another interesting lesson which we would like Year 2 to have a look at this week is the computing lesson-

It’s called “How games work?”
I’m sure many of the children will have been playing on computer games but do you know how they work? This was a really interesting lesson and I really enjoyed it I’m sure you will to!
