Learn and sing this catchy song to help remember the importance of kindness
So, whilst i was looking for lovely resources to help us with our kindness topic i came across this lovely story which teaches us not to take peoples kindness for granted.
It is in story format AND there is an animation also. The animation was made and read by the story's author in the year 1973, the year that Mrs Cook was born!!!!! I hope that you enjoy them like i did.
Below, you'll find a lovely 'Daily Acts of Kindness' activity sheet. Perhaps you can aim to do one every day! Maybe your grown ups will set you up a Daily Kind Acts reward jar, each time you carry out a Daily Kind Act you can earn a marble or a pom pom or similar to go in the jar and maybe you'll earn a wee treat if you fill it to the top?!
There are also some lovely colouring in activities for you to enjoy.
Expressive Art
Why not make one of these for a friend or family member to describe the lovely things about them. Or make your kindness flower to think of and write words to describe what kindness is.
