Week 2
Reception 1 have really enjoyed the start of our topic this week linked with the fabulous book Here We Are by Oliver Jeffers. We have been finding out about space, the solar system and the children have enjoyed crafts related to space.
The children really enjoyed finding out facts about space and especially making their own junk model rockets and playdough rockets.
In PE the children impressed myself and the coaches with their listening, gymnastic and musical theatre skills. They all try so hard.
Please continue to complete the phonics homework sheets and writing in your child's yellow reading record book.
Next week we will explore vehicles that travel on land, by sea and by air.
