Yippee! It’s Friday! Thank you all for being super stars as always this week.
Please remember to have a look at our super star’s page for pictures of you all keeping busy. Grown-ups, please keep emailing me your pictures.
Topic
As we finish our week of finding out about different types of weather, I thought we could finish the week by doing another experiment and a craft activity. Would you like to grow a rainbow?
Watch the video attached with your grown-up and carry out the experiment.
There are some lovely craft ideas that I thought you might like to do. I have added a number of pictures for you to choose from. I look forward to seeing the pictures of what you make.
Phonics
Please can you write some tricky words (use the mats on the help with literacy page) on small pieces of paper, like flashcards and then put them face down. Ask your child to turn over the paper and read the tricky word to you. We need to keep practising the tricky words as often as possible.
Next, I would like you to practising your blending by playing the Blending Bingo game. (link attached) You can choose which sounds you would like to practise from phase 2&3. See the image below.
Maths
In maths we are going to have a look at 3d shapes and their properties. Watch and join in with the lesson belowUse the mat below to help you discuss the shape properties with your child.
Physical
Join in and dance and sing along with A Rainbow CheerI hope you all have a fabulous weekend and enjoy some time outdoors having fun with your families. Next week, will be our last week of home learning. I can’t wait to see you all!
