Good morning everybody. I hope you have all had a lovely weekend.
Today is the first day of March and it is St David’s day. St David is the patron saint of Wales. On St David’s Day people who live in Wales or who are of Welsh origin celebrate by wearing one or both of Wales’ national emblems – a daffodil and a leek.
Maybe you might like to have a go at speaking Welsh with your grown-up.
Learn to speak Welsh!

Prynhawn da (Prin-houn dah) - Good afternoon

Today we are going to think about what humans need to grow. I would like you to watch the video and complete the activity at the end.
I look forward to seeing the bed you make for your teddy or toy.
For our Literacy activity today I would like you to read the text Zoom to the Moon with your child and then read and answer the questions. The activity can be completed on the screen or you can print it off, if you prefer.
PhonicsPlay the game Balloon Phonics. You can choose to find the initial sound, the medial sound or the final sound.
Practise writing the tricky words from the song – the, I, me, we, they, was, her, you. You can extend this activity by asking your child to write a sentence containing each of the tricky words.
In maths today I would like you to identify the number that comes in between two numbers. To help you with this activity I would like you to practise counting to 10/20 and then practise counting back.
Use the number lines attached to help you find the number in between.
Enjoy taking part in the yoga poses for brilliant balance
Thank you for a great day of learning. Enjoy the rest of your afternoon and I will look forward to seeing you all tomorrow.
