Welcome back to Victoria Park Infant School

Autumn Trip

This was just the start to a great morning.....

We were so lucky with the weather today - the sun was shining and so were the children.  Each and every one of them was so well behaved and sensible and an absolute credit to yourselves and school.  I was very proud of them!

First and most importantly, we stopped for a snack stop before heading over to look at the Emmeline Pankhurst monument....

The children wowed me with the knowledge and tales of Emmeline but then Leah really amazed us all with her poster and badge:

We then headed over to Manchester Art Gallery where the children were in awe of the size of some of the paintings and we measured: "how many children long?" they were.  Leo spotted the Noah's Ark work which was almost hidden in a corner and then we headed over to look at the work of Lowry.....

Please enjoy looking these photographs with your children and let them share their memories of the day with you.  I had a really lovely morning, it was a treat to be able to take 2F out and enjoy exploring together.  Thank you
