Please try and read for 10 minutes every day. All the children in 2F have several reading books so please try and keep this up!
Today's lesson English lesson is based around our topic of Hot and Cold and the Antarctica. You will be learning lots of new things about polar animals and the weather in this part of the world.
Listen to the story about Antarctica by Helen Cowcher. It is a very powerful story about how this amazing continent is under threat. What I would like you to do is write 5 reasons why we should work hard to save Antarctica. Think about the animals that live there, can you remember what they are called? Did you notice how beautiful this piece of the world is?
Your sentences may look like this...
We must protect Antarctica because there are many different species that live in this habitat.
We must protect the Emperor penguins that live there.
Antarctica is a magnificent continent with beautiful skies.
Here are some illustrations to help you with your writing.
Please write your sentences in your yellow book and send me your work via email.
