Week 3
Hello Reception 1 families!
It has been a busy, creative week in school this week. The children were very lucky to have a workshop with 'Marc Makes Comics' who is a cartoonist , specialising in comics for all ages. The children thoroughly enjoyed this creating some fantastic masterpieces which you will be able to see below.
That's not all! The children have been exploring different ways to make 10, they have had a close look at a picture of Van Gough's Sunflowers and created there own pictures with detail. I think we have some budding artists in R1!
On Thursday was World Book Day. It was fantastic to see all the children dressed as a character. Mrs Dempsey came to Reception 1 to read the children her favourite story.
