We would like you to have a little go at these games where you can practise creating words where you add a suffix. Remember a suffix comes at the end of a root word and a prefix comes at the beginning of a root word. 

This week we would like you to watch this clip of Barnaby at the Seaside.

When you have watched this clip we would like you to make a poster showing how to keep safe at the beach. This must be clear and include short written instructions on it. Some things you might want to include-

 

  • How to protect yourself from the sun
  • How to stay safe near the water
  • What to do if you get lost
  • What to do if you see someone in trouble in the sea
  • How to keep the beach clean

 

 

See if you can label the different parts of the seaside when you have finished watching the clip, you may already know some of the features from clips you watched last week about the Victorian seaside.
