Happy half term everybody! Where have the last 7 weeks gone!
The children have settled well into reception 1 and they have made new friends and are now getting on with our daily routine. Thank you all for your ongoing support for your children and Miss Edwards and I. It is very much appreciated.
We might have had a short week this week but it has been busy.
Thank you to the grown ups who came to the Harvest Festival on Wednesday. How fantastic were the children! They were very sensible listening to the others classes and sang beautifully. Miss Edwards and I were very proud of them for learning the words and the actions and singing along with smiles.
I have attached a blending activity for anybody who would like a task for the holidays. In class we are working on our blending skills using the sounds we have learnt in phonics so far. The activity will help develop your child's confidence in blending.
Miss Edwards and I hope you all have a fantastic half term break. Feel free to email me with any photos from half term and I will share them with the class when we are back in school. Enjoy looking at a few photos from this week.
I look forward to seeing you all on Monday 30th October
Take care
