Week 5
Hello R2 Families
Another lovely week has been had. It has been just lovely being back with the children and our amazing EYFS team. 
This week we have shared the story 'Rapunzel' by Bethan Woollvin. It is another 'tale with a twist' and the children were entertained by this version and they were able to compare and contrast it with the more classic versions of Rapunzel!
We carried out a strategy called 'Boxing Clever' to help the children to retell the important parts of the story. The children then used 'Boxing Clever' resource to help them write their retell in their own words. The children's writing was very impressive and I'm so proud of how far they have come.
The sunshine has brought us lots of joy this week! Everybody loves the sunshine!
Next Week is the last week of the Summer 1 term
