Hello R2 Families!
Another busy week has been had! The children visited Miss Green, their new Year 1 teacher this week, how exciting! They do make me so proud We have continued to learn about pirates this week, as part of our topic. We added detail to our tea stained pirate map paper and they look amazing! We also watched a youtube tutorial to teach us to be able to make our own origami pirate hats. We then followed a drawing tutorial to show us how to draw a Jolly Roger! We are consolidating our 0-20 number knowledge in order to stay on track, as well as memorising our Floppy's Phonics frequently. It was lovely to watch 2L rehearse their leavers assembly on Friday
We had a very special visit from Mark, Appolline's daddy this week too. He taught the children in R2 and R1 some French words. They sang together and had a go at reading and writing in French! A HUGE THANK YOU to him for his valuable time.
The children have been wonderful as they have learnt of the changes that lay ahead for them.
Next week we learn about sharks! Yikes!
Hope to see you all at the summer fair on Sunday!
