Hello R2 Families!
It has been lovely to be back with you all this week. We have hit the ground running and have begun exploring a new aspect of our topic 'Let's go on an Adventure!'. We are going to dive under the sea and find out about what lives there. This week we have learnt about the oceans of our world and shared this lovely book...
Perhaps you'd like to share it at home?! Here's a link...
In maths we have revisited repeated patterns. We have created 2 and 3 part patterns and had to explain what 'the rule' was in the repeat. We made scarves for teddy!
We have really enjoyed being back in class and getting stuck into playing together!
We will be having a new weekly PE lesson with Mr Shingler this half term and on Friday we enjoyed meeting him. We used lots and lots of energy!
Next week we are going to learn about another special person from history. His name was Jacques Cousteau and he was the first ever deep sea diver! We'll share this brilliant book to find out about his amazing life...
I hope everyone has a lovely restful weekend. I hope all you 'Fab Dads' enjoy your day on Sunday!
May I take this opportunity to say Eid Mubarak! to the R2 families that are celebrating Eid over the next few days x
