Week 2
Hello R2 Families
We have had a great week! It has been very hot and sticky but the children have coped really well. We have continued to find out about ocean life and started a really interesting book about the life of Jacques Cousteau, the man that invented deep sea diving. The children were fascinated. We have created some lovely diver collages and especially enjoyed sponge painting the ocean with real sea sponges!
In Drawing Club this week we have shared one of my faves, 'Hooray for Fish' by Lucy Cousins. The illustrations are so colourful and bold and the children enjoyed drawing their own wacky fish!
We were lucky to have had an assembly delivered by Amy, one of our mums who is a dentist. The children listened beautifully to find out how to look after our teeth.
