Welcome back to Victoria Park Infant School

Week 1

Welcome back everyone to second half of the busy autumn term.

This week we started by finding out about the Hindu and Sikh festival of Diwali. The children enjoyed finding out about how this is celebrated and made their own Diya lamps.

We then followed on by finding out about Bonfire Night, talking about how to keep safe and making our own safety posters. 

The children thoroughly enjoyed making edible sparklers!!

 

Next week is National Anti-Bullying week and the children are invited to wear odd socks to school to celebrate being different and unique.

I look forward to seeing you all on Wednesday or Thursday for our Parent's Evening.
