Hello R2 families!
What a lovely windy week we have had! As part of our 'What a Wonderful World' topic, we have journeyed around the world and considered what type of transport we use to travel from place to place. We have chatted about how we can travel across the ocean, journeys on the motorway and how each of us travel to school each day.
In maths we have been using 10 frames to make numbers and to find 1 more and one less. We have some awesome mathematicians! Next week we will explore odds, evens and doubles.
In Drawing Club we had an ace time creating our own aliens, naming with some odd names and using adjectives to describe them. We shared the book Here Come the Aliens by Colin McNaughton, which very funny!
Next week, we have a new mini topic and will be learning about Chinese New Year. We'll go crafty crazy and find out about the Year of the Snake!
Have a lovely weekend everyone!
