Week 5
Hello R2 Families
We've been non stop pirates this week! We have been learning about maps and what they are used for. This led us to looking at pirate maps and we have begun making our own! We have started by making our paper look like it is 500 years old! We carefully tore the edges, screwed them up and then soaked them in a strong tea solution (it was cold!). This had brilliant effects and the children are really pleased with them. Next week we will add some piratey detail to them!
