We started the week in 2f with our leaver's assembly. Thanks to all who came - the class were very proud of themselves and did a great job performing to you all! We performed the assembly to a year 1 class later on the same day so the year one teachers could say goodbye too.
This week we also had another visit to the Junior site to watch the Year 6 production. We also managed to have a playtime on the Junior playground with the current Year 5s so that the children could learn some names and faces of the children they will see next year.
On Wednesday the whole class spent some time enjoying the scooters that had been provided for 'Fun Day'
Next week is our last in 2F and I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for your support this year. They have been a great class and I will be checking in with the Junior school to see how they are all getting on!
I will post pictures from the leaver's disco and anything else that is happening next week for you to enjoy.
Thanks again,
Mrs Gill
St Anne’s Beach Trip
Wow! What a lovely day and fantastic behaviour 2F! Here are some photos for you to enjoy together.
Please remember it’s PE kits on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays!
Welcome back to 2F you have all settled in beautifully after the holidays.
Our new topic is the Seaside and we will looking at the history of
seasides, the geography of where beaches are located and many stories and songs which are all about the seaside.
We will be continuing our assessments in maths on all 4 operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division looking at problem solving and word problems. This shows us how the children can apply the number facts they have learned this year.
We have an exciting half term to look forward to with a beach trip, sports day and visits to the juniors.
We will be inviting you to a leavers assembly which will be held on a Monday morning where we hope to show all the seaside work and perform some songs for you.
We are currently assessing the recall of the Year 1 and 2 spellings which we would like to secure before summer. You may find a list of spellings to relearn and practice before the end of the week there is no test.
PE days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday for the last half term!
